Higonokami

Higonokami Knives, Over a Century Old!

You could say that the Higonomaki Knives are one of the oldest pocket knives still being produced and hardley unchanged. These artisan knives have been manufactured since 1896 in the province of Hirata.

These incredible pocket knives stay hardly unchanged and that says alot about a product when it still sells well worldwide. One thing is for sure about the Japanes, No matter what blades they make they make great ones, just look at these names, Mcusta, Kanetsune Seki and of course this ancient pocket knife Higonomaki.
